These terms apply to your use of snaptik.cat ("SnapTik", "we", "us"). By using the website you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use SnapTik.
2. What SnapTik does
SnapTik is an online tool that helps you save publicly available TikTok content – videos, slideshows, photos, sounds, profile pictures, stories and highlights – for personal offline use. We do not host this content; files are fetched from TikTok's public servers when you ask for them.
3. No affiliation with TikTok
SnapTik is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
4. Personal use and copyright
- Only download content that you have the right to save.
- Use downloaded files for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Do not re-upload, sell, monetise or present other people's content as your own without their permission.
- You are responsible for how you use the files you download.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to send large numbers of requests;
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service;
- use SnapTik to harass, impersonate or harm anyone;
- use the service for anything that is illegal where you live.
We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
6. Content removal
If you created content on TikTok and do not want it to be downloadable through SnapTik, email us the links together with proof that the account belongs to you. We review each request and block the content within 72 hours. We may also block content on our own initiative.
7. Advertising and third-party sites
SnapTik is free because it shows advertising. Some ads may open a new tab or page from an advertising partner. We do not control third-party websites, products or services and are not responsible for them.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of SnapTik at any time without notice. Changes made by TikTok can stop some downloads from working, temporarily or permanently.
9. Disclaimer
SnapTik is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or reputation resulting from your use of SnapTik or of files downloaded with it.
11. Indemnity
You agree to hold SnapTik harmless from claims that arise from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms, including copyright claims about content you downloaded.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use SnapTik after a change means you accept the updated terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
